Not much to post, and no pics, lol.
Was a-lookin' fer deer critters, saw none.
Did manage to bring home a 275 lb young hog, though. Mean-looking, bristly black fur, and just starting to grow tusks. Picked out one mid-sized one of a herd of about 15, Jumped them crossing a big hardwood bottom.
May try for some more now that I know where they live.........
Wild Russian boar, blasted state of MS is full of the things. No limit, no season, hunt them whenever there is open season for ANYTHING, sorta like coyotes.

this area in Texas is full of them too but i haven't had a chance to look into hunting them, have to buy a 5 day lic being from out of state for 45 bucks...
really wanna get to finding out all I can about them

Yep, it is simple.
1. Gut and skin hog. 2. Chop off hams (front and back shoulders) 3. Throw in ice chest with salt/ice/water, let it age a couple days 4. Take to dude what processes the hog 5. Specify "mild" or "spicy" 6. Go back and pick up sausage when it is done
See, you thought it would be hard, lol!
