Saw the first firearm I have REALLY wanted in years yesterday, but it was just too pricey. Found it in a surprising place, a small pawnshop in my hometown that I only check 3-4 times a year since it never has anything. It was a preban Valmet M76, full Military configuration including folding stock and flash suppressor, in NRA Excellent condition. Fired very little. This is the 5.56/.223 version. Asking price was $1200, he was willing to come down to $1100. If they would have done a 12-month lataway, I would have done it. If they'd been willing to do a six-month I'd have done it and paid for half by selling an AK at the next funshow!! A really nice rifle ............................ looked just like this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:RK_62_76.jpg

Bummer!!! That's what I just paid for my HBAR. Too bad you couldn't have gotten it. Those rifles are as tough as woodpecker lips.
