Oven Browned Roux
2 c. white flour
Spread flour on a dry cookie sheet. Bake at 400* for 15 min. Bake for additional 15 minutes. Flour should be the color of peanut butter. Sift to remove lumps and store in a container in a cool, dark place.
To Use: Add water to dry roux. Mix with wire wisk until desired consistency.
