And it has started very BIG time...any POS AR is priced no less then 1300.00... AK's that were 300.00 a while back are listed at 6 to 700.... combat type shotguns...same thing...if it's black it's tripled on price...were they selling a lot? I didn't see it...
I went thru half the show and gave up on it...sad... only a very few SKS's and they were 400 and up...regardless of cond...
I didn't see one thing that wasn't over priced...AR mags $30.00.... AK mags 35.00...ammo...223 wolf 350 a case
7.62x39 was a much as 223...I said to hell with it, I have more then I need or will ever use..so why be part of the pack...
I would advise anybody to get involved in reloading asap...and learn to cast your own bullets... even thta stuff is thru the roof...
guess I can now get back to stocking more food... it's high but not like guns
all in all it was a waste of the money to get into the show...doubt I'll bother again...

A dealer in this area is selling those god awful Century Arms AR-15 clones for nearly a grand. AND SELLING THEM OUT. Hard to believe. Those folks are going to be sorely disappointed. I was so lucky to find my Colt HBAR for list. I've seen some astounding prices on Colts.
I wanted to try and find some more P-Mags for the AR, but everybody is sold out or backordered. The TAPCO AK mags are hard to find. Good thing I got a lot of E.German ones in the stacks.
I do load. Got lots of 5 gallon pails of empties. Gonna start stocking powder and primers. That's the weak point. Got loads of projectiles from Wideners for .22, .308 and .311.
Trip's right. If your not in it now. Get in it quickly. It's easy to learn and pays huge dividends.

Howdy OMB about 2 years or so ago there was a lot of good buys in AR mags, I picked up probably 50 30 rounders, some by Stoner...
I use Bulgie AK mags, flawless!.... think AIM still has them...I couldn't believe the prices...seems with the internet you can find almpost anything for a lot less then a GS.... Don't know why ppl still go to them... hoping to gethe buy of the century...as you did with your Hbar...
I'm still thinking about a carbine in .40 cal...as I have a very large pile of both loaded and empty brass... plus I think in a lot of the 3 gun matchs in the future ppl will be using pistol cal long guns because of the price and reloading 40 is a hell of a lot cheaper then 223... plus it's a hard hitting round at close range.....
guess I'll keep looking but I'm really thinking Mechtec set up for the Glock.....mags being the order of the day

Yes you can get those big mags that hold about 2/3 of a box.
The 40 is a powerful round out of a carbine. I have to laught at the Internet Ninjas who call it the 40 Short and Weak. Those deer my buddy's son hit with that went DOWN! Using the Gold Dot HP's. Nice kills on both deer. Both beyond 50 yards but under 100.
Just be careful as you have 45's also. The 40's will go into a 45 mag and will chamber and can go off catastrophically. Be assiduous is keeping 40's and 45's seperate. I know everybody is careful, but Mr. Murphy has a way of introducing himself into a situation when least expected.

Picked up 4 AK-47 mags. Midway had the Tapco's that I like in. Also ordered 5 of the Bulgarians that you recommended. Should have enough now.
Thanks for the tip/
