www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=93778Energy costs being bumped $2,000 per household Researcher says tax could be biggest levy ever in the U.S. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: April 02, 2009 11:50 pm Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily The vice president for an energy research center says the administration of President Barack Obama is working now on what could end up being the biggest levy ever in the history of the United States, a tax that is expected to cost $2,000 per household. This is what I am talking about. The services will be there but people won't be able to afford them. In the past 5 months I have stopped using the washer & dryer because it cost to much. Even not using the washer & dryer my light bill still has gone up $45 a month. And my house is cooler than most (68-70 degrees) we don't run the a/c until it gets almost 80 we open windows and run fans. When I cook I cook two and three meals at once so I don't have to use the oven every day. I don't know about ya'll but I can not afford another $166 a month. So I guess it begins, unemployment at an all time high, tent cities popping up all around us and now the great one is going to tax us for not living in the dark.
Kitty hurry up with that bunker. I am moving in.

I averaged $400 to heat this winter (gas), up over $100 - $150 per month from same time last year. My usage was down each month except for one month because I kept the house cooler. Now my house doesn't have the best of insulation but it's not very big either.
It's nuts out there.
