Ok so I shared with you my way of adding about $100 a month to our income. So I sold some more books and spent the money at the grocery store...
The IGA had chicken leg quarters on sale on sale for 49 cents a pound (per 10# bags). Which around here is good considering usually the cheapest place to buy chicken is Wally World and they are 69 cents a pound (or 6.90 for 10#)there.
So any way sent ds#2 to the store and told him to buy 5 bags. He didn't realize they were 10 pound bags hehe. He brought me my debit card back and said there were now no room in the refrigerator and that he didn't want chicken for a while. I laughed and told him tough guess what we were eating for the next 3-4 months.
This morning I have cut the leg quarters up and am wrapping each piece so that I can just pull out a piece at a time. That way I don't have to defrost the whole bag. I did freeze about 5# of drum sticks together but I have plans for those to be cooked all at one time. I have the cheap sandwich bags that have the fold top and a thigh fits just perfect in them.
Maybe later I will can some of it but for now my freebie freezer is being put to good use.
Oh not only that but Food Lion is having a two day sale - oil for 1.99 as opposed to 3.50, can only get two so I just sent hubby back to the store to get two more.
Can't wait for canned good to go on sale. Must find more text books to sell.

Wow that's a whole lotta chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Might get old but with lots of spices probably not. OOO get some Carolina Treet BBQ sauce. The original is better than the SC version it's in lots of grocery stores in NC. Even makes tofu good lol. www.carolinatreet.com/sauces.asp
